Business & Opportunities Yusif Savalan CDs   Yusif Savalan (1960-
), an Azerbaijani singer from Iran, has recorded two CDs of traditional
Azeri songs, "Heydar Baba" and "Garabagh".
Savalan grew up in Tabriz and joined the Tabriz Radio Azerbaijani
Instruments Ensemble at age 16. He is featured on both CDs with
Baku's Ahmad Bakikhanov Ensemble, a 10-member group that plays
traditional Azerbaijani musical instruments like the saz, garmon
and zurna.
