Crocus Blossom of Saffron

| In November 2005,
photographer Anna Tatti from the island of Sardinia captured
the harvesting process of saffron at her cousin's farm. Little
did she know at that time that scientists are discovering a correlation
between the fragrant,brilliant-colored red-orange stamens and
their medicinal properties against cancer. Anna shares the beauty
of the saffron harvest - bees and all - with our readers. It's
just another example of internationalism facilitated by the Internet.
