French-Azeri
Dictionary
The
first French-Azeri dictionary ever to be printed in Azerbaijan's
new Latin alphabet was published in July 2000 under the sponsorship
of Total Fina Elf. Compiler Ali Musayev, an instructor
at the State Institute of Languages, worked on the volume for
eight years, elaborating on definitions from a previous Azeri
Cyrillic version and providing context for usage. An Azeri-French
dictionary is being planned.
"Dictionnaire Francais-Azerbaidjanais" (310 pages,
